For survivors

Because no one faces cancer alone,
we need you

Friends show an unwavering annual commitment to the compassionate services provided to all Alaskans at the Providence Cancer Center. Individuals and corporate gifts may be directed to cancer support services programs including patient navigation, Susan Butcher Family Center, and healing arts, or to the Providence Cancer Center Greatest Need fund. Many Friends have been affected directly or indirectly by cancer, and with this life changing experience have decided to make a difference in helping others who are experiencing their cancer journey.

Become a friend, make a donation or host a fundraising event
Get creative! We greatly appreciate our friends in the community who wish to host fundraising events benefiting the Providence Cancer Center. From golf outings and walks, to bake sales and dinner dances, hosting your own event affords you a great opportunity to connect with your family, friends, and neighbors in support of the Providence Cancer Center.

Please share your plans with us - the use of Providence name and logos requires prior approval.

The Providence Alaska Foundation is pleased to be selected as the beneficiary of financial support from special fundraising programs, events or projects by generous individuals, groups and organizations. In order to ensure that all proposed fundraising events or appeals to the general public are registered and authorized, please click below to review the requirements.

Ways to give

Cars creating miracles - Please donate your vehicle to our Cars Creating Miracles Vehicle Donation Program. A vehicle donation can help provide comfort, treatment and hope to children across our Area. Every vehicle donation – virtually any vehicle in any condition – will make a difference. The Children’s Hospital at Providence will receive 70 percent of the net proceeds from the sale of your much needed donated vehicle. Please feel free to contact us at 888-999-6504 for more information about this program.

Gift of cash - This is the simplest way to contribute. Most gifts are made by check or credit card. Gifts in thanks for care or in honor of a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary are always thoughtful gifts. Those in memory of a loved one are a special tribute as well. Gifts are tax-deductible as provided by law.

Appreciated stock - Providence accepts the donation of appreciated securities which may offer the donor tax advantages. Contact the foundation office of your choice for more information.

Matching gifts - Many companies match, or even double match, their employees' gifts. Check with your employer, your spouse's employer or even the company from which you retired.

Planned giving - Planned gifts, including gifts through your estate, charitable trust, real property or life insurance are welcome. For information on making a planned gift, please contact Providence Office of Gift Planning, 503-216-6639 or toll-free 1-877-228-2574.
