Patient Stories

Often orthopedic surgery does not require an inpatient hospital stay. Patients receiving orthopedic outpatient (ambulatory) surgical procedures at PAMC are treated with the same clinical expertise and advanced medical technologies as our most complex inpatient cases.

Patients typically admitted to the orthopedic unit include trauma patients and those acutely recovering from orthopedic surgery. All our ortho unit rooms have wireless telemetry (heart monitoring) available should patients require it.

More Orthopedic Videos
Exercise and surgery videos present and reinforce rehabilitation exercise for patients who are considering or recovering from orthopedic surgery. In addition to working with your physical therapist and surgeon, you can use the videos to help adhere to proper technique and reinforce instructions from your health care provider.
